2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball Breaks: Jumbo & Hobby Case Breaks, Team Prices and Checklist by Team
2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball releases November 5, 2026 (it moved from October 22). A Jumbo box has one autograph and one relic, so a six-box Jumbo case has six autographs and six relics; a Hobby box has one autograph or relic. FireHand Cards runs it as 30-team pick-your-team (PYT) case breaks: you buy one NBA team, we open the case live on YouTube, and every card for your team ships to you free.

Jumbo vs Hobby: what’s in each box and case
A 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball Jumbo box has 10 packs of 28 cards with one autograph and one relic, and a Jumbo case holds six boxes (six autographs and six relics). A Hobby box has 20 packs of 12 cards with one autograph or relic, and a Hobby case holds 12 boxes. Each format has its own exclusive parallels, and Player Number Variations are Hobby-only.

How a FireHand PYT break works
In a FireHand Topps Basketball PYT break, you buy one NBA team and receive every card pulled for that team when the case is opened live.
- Pick your team and buy the spot. Each of the 30 team spots has its own price on the break page.
- The break fills. Pick-your-team breaks load in the store daily between 8 and 9 AM Pacific. You get an email before your break starts.
- It breaks once every spot is sold. FireHand only breaks once every spot is sold. When the last spot sells, the case is opened live on YouTube. Watch on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page.
- Your cards ship free. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping goes out every other Thursday. See shipping.
- See your hits in HEYSTACK. When a break is imaged (many are, not all), hit images show up in HEYSTACK. Create a free HEYSTACK account with the email you use on FireHand Cards.
How team ownership works (multi-team cards and special cases)
- Cards with more than one NBA team. When a card features players from more than one NBA team, a random draw among the owners of those teams decides who gets the card. In 2026-27 Flagship that includes the eight Rookie Photo Shoot Dual Autographs (for example AJ Dybantsa / Darryn Peterson, Wizards and Jazz).
- High-value multi-team cards. When a multi-team card has significant value, FireHand leaves the decision to the team owners involved. They can choose a random draw, sell the card and split the money, have one owner buy out the other(s), or settle it any other way they agree on.
- Cards with no NBA team. Randomized among everyone in the break.
- Historical franchises count under today’s team: the Seattle SuperSonics card (Gary Payton, Contemporary Marks auto) goes to the Thunder.
The eight Rookie Photo Shoot Dual Autographs: AJ Dybantsa (Wizards) / Darryn Peterson (Jazz); Aday Mara (Thunder) / Hannes Steinbach (Hornets); Caleb Wilson (Bulls) / Cameron Boozer (Grizzlies); Chris Cenac Jr. (Celtics) / Christian Anderson Jr. (Hornets); Koa Peat (Suns) / Cameron Carr (Lakers); Bennett Stirtz (Thunder) / Dailyn Swain (Bulls); Keaton Wagler (Clippers) / Kingston Flemings (Hawks); Yaxel Lendeborg (Warriors) / Mikel Brown Jr. (Nets).
What if my team gets nothing?
It can happen. A team can go a whole break without a hit, and FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still earn Firehand Points on every purchase: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout.
Checklist by team
Topps’ official 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball checklist (PDF) lists every card. The table below gives PYT buyers the team-by-team view of autograph and relic subjects, with this year’s rookies marked. The counts are checklist lines, not odds, and every card is randomly inserted.
Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change. See the official checklist.

Why some teams cost more
Team prices follow the rookie class and checklist depth. The Bulls, Grizzlies, Jazz, Warriors and Wizards have the highest starting price, $259, and spots start at $39. The Wizards (AJ Dybantsa), Jazz (Darryn Peterson), Grizzlies (Cameron Boozer) and Bulls (Caleb Wilson) each have one of the top rookies, with 12 autograph and relic lines apiece for those players. A higher price buys more chances, not a guaranteed hit.
Past FireHand breaks and big hits
None yet. 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball releases November 5, 2026, and FireHand breaks each case only once every team sells. Each completed break gets added here with its video, timestamps and best hits.
Is a break worth it?
A sealed six-box Jumbo case gets you six autographs and six relics from random teams. FireHand Jumbo team spots have starting prices of $39 to $259, and a spot gets you every card your team pulls from that full case, including every base card, rookie, parallel and insert for your team.
The trade-off is certainty. Six autographs and six relics are spread across 30 teams, so a team spot doesn’t guarantee a hit. A sealed box guarantees its hits, just not for your team.
A break suits you if you collect one team, want your team’s first official rookie cards of this class, or like watching the case opened live. Jumbo suits hit-focused buyers (an autograph and a relic in every box); Hobby, once the planned Hobby PYT breaks are listed, suits collectors chasing Hobby-only parallels and Player Number Variations.
FAQ
What comes in a 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball Jumbo box?

What’s the difference between Topps Basketball Jumbo and Hobby?
A Jumbo box has 10 packs of 28 cards with one autograph and one relic. A Hobby box has 20 packs of 12 cards with one autograph or relic, and a Hobby case has 12 boxes. Each format has its own exclusive parallels, and Player Number Variations are Hobby-only.
When does 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball come out?

On Topps’ checklist, the Mavericks have the most autograph and relic card lines (55), followed by the Thunder (52), Hawks (49) and Knicks (43). Every card is randomly inserted, so no team is guaranteed a hit. Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change.
Who gets a Rookie Photo Shoot Dual Autograph with two teams’ rookies?
A random draw among the owners of the two teams decides. If the card has significant value, the owners decide together: a random draw, sell and split, a buyout, or anything else they agree on.
