2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Breaks: Pick Your Team, Prices and Autographs by Team

2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball is Topps’ prospect product built around 1st Bowman Chrome autographs, and it has been out since September 9, 2026. A Hobby box has six packs of 10 cards and two autographs. FireHand Cards runs it as 3-box pick-your-team (PYT) breaks with at least six autographs per break: you buy one MLB team, we open the boxes live on YouTube, and every card for your team, prospects included, ships to you free.

Current breaks at FireHand

2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby 3 Box Break PYT #35: open now. 3 Hobby boxes, 30 team spots (all MLB teams), at least 6 autographs. 20 of 30 teams were still open at Oct 29, 2026, 4:55 PM CT.

Starting team prices run $15 to $189. Current prices are on the live listing. The break goes live as soon as its last team sells, and spots change fast, so the break page always has the live count.

What’s in a box and a 3-box break

A 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby box has six packs of 10 cards (60 cards) and two autographs. A Hobby case holds 12 boxes, so 24 autographs.

What is a 1st Bowman?

A player’s first Bowman card carries a “1st Bowman” logo. For most prospects it is their first licensed card, often printed years before they reach the majors, which is why prospect collectors chase it. The Chrome version, and above all the 1st Bowman Chrome Prospect Autograph, is the card most collectors want. Its value follows the player: a prospect who rises through the minors and debuts well lifts the card, and one who stalls doesn’t. Refractor parallels, especially low-numbered ones, carry the same card in scarcer versions.

How a FireHand PYT break works

In a FireHand Bowman Chrome PYT break, you buy one MLB team and receive every card pulled for that team, including its prospects, when the three boxes are opened live.

  1. Pick your team and buy the spot. Each of the 30 team spots has its own price on the break page.
  2. The break fills. Pick-your-team breaks load in the store daily between 8 and 9 AM Pacific. You get an email before your break starts.
  3. It breaks once every spot is sold. FireHand only breaks once every spot is sold. When the last spot sells, the boxes is opened live on YouTube. Watch on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page.
  4. Your cards ship free. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping goes out every other Thursday. See shipping.
  5. See your hits in HEYSTACK. When a break is imaged (many are, not all), hit images show up in HEYSTACK. Create a free HEYSTACK account with the email you use on FireHand Cards.

How team ownership works (prospects and special cases)

These are FireHand’s house rules for every break, with what they mean for Bowman Chrome:

  • Prospect and minor league cards. Cards go to the 2026 MLB parent club of the player’s organization, which is the team Topps prints on the card. A Konnor Griffin card goes to the Pirates, a Kevin McGonigle card to the Tigers and an Ethan Holliday card to the Rockies.
  • Cards with a former team name. Cards showing a franchise’s old name or city go to that franchise’s current team. The Vladimir Guerrero autograph listed as Expos goes to the Nationals.
  • Cards with more than one MLB team. When a card features players from more than one MLB team, a random draw among the owners of those teams decides who gets the card.
  • High-value multi-team cards. When a multi-team card has significant value, FireHand leaves the decision to the team owners involved. They can choose a random draw, sell the card and split the money, have one owner buy out the other(s), or settle it any other way they agree on.
  • Cards pairing an MLB player with a non-MLB player. The card goes to the team of the MLB player.

WBC Flag Variation autographs. Topps lists these 55 cards by country (for example United States, Dominican Republic and Japan), not by MLB team. Each one goes to the player’s MLB team. For a prospect, that’s his MLB parent club, the same as his other Bowman cards.

Superfractor Bounty

Every FireHand Bowman Chrome PYT break listed so far qualifies for the Superfractor Bounty. If your team hits a SuperFractor in the break, you win the bounty. The bounty is paid in Firehand Points. Every SuperFractor counts toward the Superfractor Bounty; other 1/1s and parallels don’t. The current bounty total is always shown in the bar at the top of the site.

Each qualifying break that ends without a SuperFractor adds to the bounty, so check the bar at the top of the site for the current total. Bounties and Firehand Points apply to breaks bought on firehandcards.com.

What if my team gets nothing?

Six autographs across 30 teams means most teams won’t get an autograph in a given break. Every team still gets its base cards, Refractors and inserts. FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still earn Firehand Points on every purchase: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout. And every qualifying break builds the Superfractor Bounty.

Checklist by team

Topps’ official 2026 Bowman Chrome checklist (PDF) lists every card. The table below gives PYT buyers the team view: prospect autograph lines, other autograph lines and auto-relic lines. The counts are checklist lines, not odds.

Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change. See the official checklist.

Starting prices: the listing’s starting PYT price for every team, sold teams included, read Oct 29, 2026, 4:55 PM CT. Status: FireHand Bowman Chrome PYT #35. “Sold” means the team was no longer in the buy menu. Checklist columns: Topps’ official checklist as of Oct 29, 2026, subject to change. Variation lines count as separate checklist lines, so a player can appear more than once. The Expos line counts with the Nationals. WBC Flag Variation autographs are listed by country on the checklist, so they aren’t in these team counts yet; each one goes to the player’s MLB team (the MLB parent club for prospects). Most-listed subjects appear most on the team’s autograph lines, in no ranked order; counts are checklist lines, not odds.

WBC Flag Variation autographs (not in team counts; each goes to the player's MLB team or MLB parent club): 55 lines by country: Australia 1, Canada 2, Chinese Taipei 1, Dominican Republic 7, Great Britain 1, Italy 7, Japan 3, Korea 2, Mexico 3, Netherlands 3, Nicaragua 1, Panama 1, Puerto Rico 2, United States 15, Venezuela 6. No multi-team autograph cards were found on the checklist.

Starting prices shown; check the live listing for current spot prices.

Why some teams cost more

Each team has its own price, set by desirability, the number of possible hits and the potential value of those hits. Team prices follow the farm system and demand. The Dodgers have the top starting price in PYT #35 at $189, and starting prices begin at $15. On Topps’ checklist the Pirates have the most hit lines (29), followed by the Mets (24), Royals (23), Dodgers (22) and Cardinals (20). A higher price buys more chances, not a guaranteed hit.

Is a break worth it?

A Hobby box gives you two autographs from anywhere on the checklist. FireHand team spots start at $15 to $189, and a spot gets you every card your team pulls from three boxes: at least six autographs spread across the 30 teams, plus Chrome base, Refractors and variations.

Be clear about what you’re buying. Most Bowman Chrome autographs are prospects, and their value depends on how those players develop. A team spot doesn’t guarantee an autograph either; most teams won’t get one in a given break. What a break does is let you follow one organization’s farm system for a fraction of a box price.

A break suits you if you collect one team’s prospects or want cheap exposure to a deep farm system. A sealed box suits you if you want to rip it yourself and don’t mind which teams the autographs come from.

FAQ

What comes in a 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball hobby box?

Six packs of 10 cards, with two autographs per box. A 12-box Hobby case has 24 autographs. Hobby boxes released September 9, 2026.

How many autographs are in a FireHand Bowman Chrome break?

At least six. FireHand’s pick-your-team breaks open three Hobby boxes, and each box has two autographs.

Which MLB team gets a prospect’s card in a Bowman Chrome break?

The player’s 2026 MLB parent club, which is the organization Topps prints on the card. A Konnor Griffin prospect card goes to the Pirates spot.

Which teams have the most autographs in 2026 Bowman Chrome?

On Topps’ checklist, the Pirates have the most autograph and auto-relic lines (29), followed by the Mets (24), Royals (23), Dodgers (22) and Cardinals (20). Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change. Every card is randomly inserted, so no team is guaranteed a hit.

What is a 1st Bowman card?

A player’s first Bowman card, marked with a “1st Bowman” logo. For most prospects it’s their first licensed card, and the 1st Bowman Chrome autograph is the version collectors chase most.

Does the Superfractor Bounty apply to Bowman Chrome breaks?

Yes. Every FireHand Bowman Chrome PYT break listed so far qualifies. If your team hits a SuperFractor, you win the bounty in Firehand Points. Every SuperFractor counts; other 1/1s and parallels don’t. The current total is shown in the bar at the top of the site, and bounties apply to breaks bought on firehandcards.com.

When does a FireHand Bowman Chrome break happen, and when do my cards ship?

Once every team sells. FireHand breaks the boxes live on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel as soon as all 30 teams are sold, and you get an email before your break starts. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international orders ship every other Thursday.
