2026 Topps Gilded Collection Baseball Breaks: Case Breaks, Checklist by Team and the 24K Chase

2026 Topps Gilded Collection Baseball is Topps’ gold-themed Chrome set, and it’s scheduled to release November 25, 2026 (subject to change). A Hobby box has two packs (one of four cards, one of two) and two autographs, so a 4-box case has eight autographs. FireHand Cards will run 2026 Gilded Collection pick-your-team (PYT) case breaks: you choose an MLB team and get every card pulled for it. Breaks are coming soon.

What’s in a box and case

A 2026 Topps Gilded Collection Baseball Hobby box has two packs: one with four cards and one with two, for six cards and two autographs. A Hobby case holds four boxes, so 24 cards and eight autographs. Topps also says to look for numbered base and insert cards and Gold Regalia parallels. Contents are subject to change.

How FireHand’s breaks work

Pick your team (PYT)

Each of the 30 MLB teams has its own price. You buy a team and get every card pulled for that team, and all cards ship. Prices follow the checklist and demand.

When does the break happen?

FireHand breaks it live on YouTube as soon as every team is sold. If a listing shows a break time, it’s in Pacific Time (PT).

From purchase to your mailbox

  1. Pick your team and buy the spot. Each of the 30 MLB teams has its own price.
  2. The break fills. Pick-your-team breaks load in the store daily between 8 and 9 AM Pacific. You get an email before your break starts.
  3. It breaks once every spot is sold. FireHand only breaks once every spot is sold. When the last spot sells, the case is opened live on YouTube. Watch on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page.
  4. Your cards ship free. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping goes out every other Thursday. See shipping.
  5. See your hits in HEYSTACK. When a break is imaged (many are, not all), hit images show up in HEYSTACK. Create a free HEYSTACK account with the email you use on FireHand Cards.

How team ownership works

These are FireHand’s house rules for every baseball break:

  • Cards with more than one MLB team. When a card features players from more than one MLB team, a random draw among the owners of those teams decides who gets the card.
  • High-value multi-team cards. When a multi-team card has significant value, FireHand leaves the decision to the team owners involved. They can choose a random draw, sell the card and split the money, have one owner buy out the other(s), or settle it any other way they agree on.
  • Cards pairing an MLB player with a non-MLB player. The card goes to the team of the MLB player.
  • Cut Signatures with no MLB team. Cut signatures with no MLB team (non-baseball figures, or non-players like a commissioner) are randomized among everyone in the break.
  • Old team names. Cards showing a franchise’s old city or name go to that franchise’s current team. For example, Montreal Expos cards go to the Nationals and Brooklyn Dodgers cards go to the Dodgers.

Gilded is built around Hall of Famers and legends, so the old-team-name rule matters more than usual. Topps’ product sheet lists no cut signatures or dual autographs, but the rules stay here in case the checklist adds them. Once the checklist is out, every card with an old team name will be listed with the team it goes to.

The Superfractor Bounty

Every 2026 Gilded Collection break on firehandcards.com is a pick-your-team break and counts toward FireHand’s Superfractor Bounty. The bounty goes to the buyer who owns the team of the SuperFractor pulled in that break. For example, if you own the Braves in a Gilded PYT break and a Braves SuperFractor is pulled, you win the bounty. Only SuperFractor cards qualify: the base, Topps Chrome Gold Autograph and Cast in Gold Autograph SuperFractor 1/1s. Other 1/1 variations and parallels do not, including 24K, Platinum, Foilfractor and Gold 1/1s. The bounty is paid in Firehand Points. See the current total in the bar at the top of this page.

The other FireHand bounties (Bat Barrel & Knob, NFL Shield, NBA Logoman, Soccer True 1/1) don’t apply: no such cards are on Topps’ product sheet.

What about 24K and the other 1/1s?

24K cards are 1/1s made of gold and one of the biggest chases in the product, but they don’t count toward the Superfractor Bounty. Only SuperFractors qualify. 24K, Platinum, Foilfractor and Gold 1/1s, and every other 1/1 variation and parallel, do not.

What if my team gets nothing?

Eight autographs across 30 teams means at most eight teams can get an autograph in a single case, so most teams won’t. FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still earn Firehand Points on website breaks: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout. Every qualifying break also builds the Superfractor Bounty.

Checklist by team

Topps hasn’t published the 2026 checklist yet (checked Oct 29, 2026). We’ll add the team-by-team breakdown and a link to Topps’ official checklist here when it’s out.

Why some teams cost more

Prices follow the number of hits on the checklist and the legends and stars each team has.

Is a break worth it?

Gilded puts eight autographs in a 4-box case, many of them Hall of Famers and all of them numbered, plus the 24K and SuperFractor 1/1 chases. That’s the appeal: a team spot gets you every card for your team from a full case.

Be clear on the trade-off. Spots in a high-end product cost a lot, at most eight of the 30 teams get an autograph in a single case, and the 1/1s are rare. A sealed box guarantees two autographs, just not of your team.

A break suits you if you collect one team and want a shot at its legends without buying a whole case. A sealed box suits you if you want guaranteed autographs in hand and don’t mind which team they’re from.

FAQ

What comes in a 2026 Topps Gilded Collection Baseball hobby box?

Two packs, one with four cards and one with two, for six cards and two autographs. A Hobby case has four boxes, so eight autographs. The product is set to release November 25, 2026 (subject to change).

How many autographs are in a Gilded Collection case break?

Eight. Each Hobby box has two autographs, and a case has four boxes.

What is a 24K card in 2026 Topps Gilded Collection?

It’s a new insert for 2026: one-of-one cards made of gold, according to Topps. Topps hasn’t said which players are in the set.

What’s new in 2026 Gilded Collection?

Topps calls out 24K, one-of-one cards made of gold, and Gilded Ink autographs, signed in gold. Gold Regalia inserts and Cast in Gold Autographs are also on the 2026 product sheet, alongside returning Statuesque, Gilded Champions and Gilded Hall of Fame Plaque Autographs.

How does a FireHand Gilded Collection PYT break work?

Each of the 30 MLB teams has its own price. You buy a team and get every card pulled for it, and all cards ship. FireHand breaks it live on YouTube as soon as every team is sold.

Who gets a legend’s card that shows an old team name?

The franchise’s current team. For example, Montreal Expos cards go to the Nationals and Brooklyn Dodgers cards go to the Dodgers.

Who gets a card with more than one team?

A random draw among the owners of those teams decides. If the card is high value, the owners decide together: a random draw, sell and split, a buyout, or anything else they agree on.

Does the Superfractor Bounty apply to Gilded Collection breaks?

Yes. Every 2026 Gilded Collection break on firehandcards.com qualifies. The bounty goes to the buyer who owns the team of the SuperFractor pulled in that break, so if you own the Braves and a Braves SuperFractor is pulled, you win it. The base, Topps Chrome Gold Autograph and Cast in Gold Autograph SuperFractors all count. The bounty is paid in Firehand Points, and the current total is shown in the bar at the top of every FireHand page.

Do 24K cards count for the Superfractor Bounty?

No. 24K cards are 1/1s made of gold, but only SuperFractors count toward the Superfractor Bounty. Other 1/1 variations and parallels, including Platinum, Foilfractor and Gold 1/1s, don’t count either.

Which teams have the most hits in 2026 Gilded Collection?

Topps hasn’t published the checklist yet. We’ll add a team-by-team count here when it’s out. Checklists are subject to change.

Where can I watch the break, and when do my cards ship?

Every FireHand break streams live on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel, and you get an email before your break starts. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international orders ship every other Thursday.
