How a FireHand break works: two formats
FireHand runs Mint Disney two ways, and each listing says which format it is. Either way, the break opens live on YouTube once every spot sells, and your cards ship free.
Random Serial Number breaks
In a Random Serial Number break, you don’t pick a character. Each spot gets a random number from 0 to 9, assigned live, and you get every card whose number matches yours. Numbered cards follow their serial number; unnumbered cards follow their card number (for example, base card #25 goes to spot #5). If a card number is made of letters, FireHand uses the last letter’s place in the alphabet, as on its other Random Numbers breaks:
| Spot | Letters |
|---|---|
| 1 | A, K, U |
| 2 | B, L, V |
| 3 | C, M, W |
| 4 | D, N, X |
| 5 | E, O, Y |
| 6 | F, P, Z |
| 7 | G, Q |
| 8 | H, R |
| 9 | I, S |
| 0 | J, T |
Pick-Your-Character breaks
In a Pick-Your-Character break, you choose the character you want, like Woody, Elsa or Donald Duck, and get every card of that character pulled live. Each character has its own price. Each live listing shows its character spots and starting prices.
Which format should I buy?
- Random serial numbers spread every card across 10 spots, so every spot has a shot at the biggest hits.
- Pick-Your-Character lets you target a favorite, with each character priced by what it has on the checklist.
Will my spot get a hit?
Most characters won’t get an autograph or encased card in a given box: each box has only one encased card. FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still earn Firehand Points on every purchase: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout.
You watch the break on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page, and get an email before it starts. Shipping is free on group breaks; packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping every other Thursday (shipping). When a break is imaged, hits show up in HEYSTACK.
Checklist by franchise and character
Checklist by franchise as of Oct 29, 2026, from Topps’ official 2026 Mint Disney checklist (PDF). Franchises as printed by Topps, with sequels grouped (for example Toy Story 2-5 under Toy Story, Frozen 2 under Frozen). Base cards are tier cards; each also has a Chrome variation, not counted twice. Counts are checklist lines, not odds or a value ranking.

Characters with Chrome Autographs
Characters that appear only on a Chrome Autograph (not in the base set): Roz, Dim, Timon, Rex, Li Shang, Mitchie Torres, Shane Gray, Nate Gray, Gabriella Montez, Raven, Quorra, Embarrassment and the White Queen. Mickey Mouse has two Chrome Autographs (Brett Iwan and Chris Diamantopoulos).
Characters with the most premium cards
Donald Duck has a Platinum base card, Minted in Magic, a Chrome Autograph (Tony Anselmo), the Clarence Nash Cut Signature and the Donald Duck and Friends Comic Cuts card. On Topps’ checklist, Mickey & Friends and Toy Story have five Chrome Autographs each, followed by Frozen, Monsters, Inc. and Camp Rock with three each. Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change.
Is a break worth it?
A sealed Mint Disney box is one pack of 10 cards and a single encased card, so most of its value rides on which encased card you get. A break spot costs a fraction of a box and puts you in the whole break, so you can follow a favorite character or a random number across every box opened.
The trade-off is certainty. Most spots won’t land an autograph or encased card. A sealed box guarantees one encased card, just not your character.
A break suits Disney fans who want a shot at a Chrome Autograph or the Clarence Nash cut without buying a box, collectors of one character or film, and anyone who likes watching the box opened live. A sealed box suits you if you want to rip it yourself and keep whatever comes out.

How does a Mint Disney break work at FireHand?

In a Pick-Your-Character break, you choose a character and get every card of that character. Either way, the break is opened live on YouTube once every spot sells, and cards ship free.
What’s the difference between a random number and a pick-your-character Mint Disney break?
