2026 Topps Heritage Football Breaks: Case Breaks, Team Prices and Checklist by Team
2026 Topps Heritage Football released October 21, 2026, and puts today’s players and the 2026 rookie class on the 1976 Topps design. A Hobby box has 20 packs of eight cards and one autograph or relic card, so a 12-box case has 12 hits. FireHand Cards runs it as 32-team pick-your-team (PYT) case breaks: you buy one NFL team, we open the case live on YouTube, and every card for your team ships to you free.
Current breaks at FireHand

What’s in a box and case
A 2026 Topps Heritage Football Hobby box has 20 packs of eight cards (160 cards) and one autograph or relic card. The hit can be a relic instead of an autograph. A Hobby case holds 12 boxes, so 12 autographs or relics.

New for 2026
Topps calls two inserts new this year: All-Pro Series, a nod to the 24-card 1976 Wonder Bread set with 24 All-Pro players from the 2025 season, and The Expansion, which covers the 28 teams of the NFL’s 1976 expansion era.

The chase cards
These are the cards everyone on the stream is waiting for, per Topps' checklist:
- Walter Payton Rookie Redemption. 34 real 1976 Topps Walter Payton rookie cards, graded PSA 6 to PSA 10. Topps lists all 34 with the Chicago Bears.
- Walter Payton Cut Signatures. Five cards, listed with the Bears.
- Real One Autographs and Real One Rookie Autographs, the Heritage on-card autograph sets.
- Flashbacks Autographed Relics. Four cards: Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Fouts and Drew Pearson.
- Bicentennial Relic Autographs (15) and Classic Renditions Autographs (26).
- Heritage Rookie Autographs, Founding Era Ink and Base Cards Chrome Autograph Variations from the 2026 rookie class.

How a FireHand PYT break works
In a FireHand Heritage PYT break, you buy one NFL team and receive every card pulled for that team when the 12-box case is opened live.
- Pick your team and buy the spot. Each of the 32 team spots has its own price on the break page.
- The break fills. Pick-your-team breaks load in the store daily between 8 and 9 AM Pacific. You get an email before your break starts.
- It breaks once every spot is sold. FireHand only breaks once every spot is sold. When the last spot sells, the case is opened live on YouTube. Watch on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page.
- Your cards ship free. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping goes out every other Thursday. See shipping.
- See your hits in HEYSTACK. When a break is imaged (many are, not all), hit images show up in HEYSTACK. Create a free HEYSTACK account with the email you use on FireHand Cards.
How team ownership works (multi-team cards and special cases)
- Cards with more than one NFL team. A random draw among the owners of those teams decides who gets the card. If it has significant value, the owners decide together: a random draw, sell and split, a buyout, or anything else they agree on.
- Cards pairing an NFL player with a non-NFL figure. The card goes to the NFL player’s team.
- Cut signatures with no NFL team. Randomized among everyone in the break.
- Cards with a former team name. Cards showing a franchise’s old name or city go to that franchise’s current team. For example, Houston Oilers cards go to the Titans.
How this applies to 2026 Heritage Football:
- Topps’ checklist has no dual or multi-player autograph or relic cards, so the multi-team rule shouldn’t come up.
- The five Walter Payton Cut Signatures and all 34 Walter Payton rookie redemptions are listed with the Chicago Bears, so they go to the Bears.
- Cards go to the team printed on the card. Veterans are listed with the team Topps printed (for example, A.J. Brown with the Patriots and Mike Evans with the 49ers).
- Old team names go to today’s franchise: Howie Long (Los Angeles Raiders) goes to the Raiders and Dan Fouts (San Diego Chargers) goes to the Chargers. Earl Campbell’s Bicentennial Relic Autograph is printed Houston Oilers, so it goes to the Titans.
Superfractor Bounty
Every 2026 Heritage Football break counts toward FireHand’s Superfractor Bounty, and every SuperFractor counts. The bounty goes to the buyer who owns the team of the SuperFractor pulled in that break. The bounty is paid in Firehand Points. The current bounty total is always shown in the bar at the top of the site.
What if my team gets nothing?
Twelve hits across 32 teams means many teams won’t get an autograph or relic in a given case, and FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still get every base card, rookie, insert and parallel for your team, and you earn Firehand Points on every purchase: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout. Every qualifying break also builds the Superfractor Bounty.
Checklist by team
Topps’ official 2026 Heritage Football checklist (PDF) lists every card. The table below gives PYT buyers the team-by-team view of autograph, relic and autograph-relic lines, with rookies marked. The counts are checklist lines, not odds, and every hit is randomly inserted.
Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change. See the official checklist.

Why some teams cost more
Team prices follow the checklist and demand. On Oct 29, 2026 the Raiders (Fernando Mendoza) topped PYT #3 at $239, and open spots started at $25. A higher price buys more chances, not a guaranteed hit.

Is a break worth it?
A Heritage Hobby box has one autograph or relic, from any team. FireHand team spots have starting prices of $25 to $239, and a spot gets you every card your team pulls from a full 12-box case: 240 packs of base, rookies, inserts, Chrome parallels and whatever hits land on your team.
The trade-off is certainty. A case has 12 hits for 32 teams, so a team spot doesn’t guarantee a hit, and most hits come from the larger autograph and relic sets rather than the short-printed chase cards. Topps.com showed Hobby boxes and cases sold out on Oct 29, 2026.
A break suits you if you collect one team, build the 1976-design set for your players, or want a shot at a 2026 rookie’s Heritage autograph without buying a case. A sealed box suits you if you want a guaranteed hit in hand and don’t mind which team it’s from.
