How a FireHand PYT break works
In a FireHand Midnight PYT break, you buy one NFL team and receive every card pulled for that team when the case is opened live.
- Pick your team and buy the spot. Each of the 32 team spots will have its own price on the break page.
- The break fills. Pick-your-team breaks load in the store daily between 8 and 9 AM Pacific. You get an email before your break starts.
- It breaks once every spot is sold. FireHand only breaks once every spot is sold. When the last spot sells, the case is opened live on YouTube. Watch on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page.
- Your cards ship free. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping goes out every other Thursday. See shipping.
- See your hits in HEYSTACK. When a break is imaged (many are, not all), hit images show up in HEYSTACK. Create a free HEYSTACK account with the email you use on FireHand Cards.
How team ownership works (multi-team cards and special cases)
- Cards with more than one NFL team. A random draw among the owners of those teams decides who gets the card. If it has significant value, the owners decide together: a random draw, sell and split, a buyout, or anything else they agree on.
- Cards pairing an NFL player with a non-NFL figure. The card goes to the NFL player’s team.
- Cards with no NFL team. Randomized among everyone in the break.
- Cards with a former team name. Cards showing a franchise’s old name or city go to that franchise’s current team. For example, Houston Oilers cards go to the Titans.
On Topps’ checklist, no autograph or relic card has two NFL teams. The Constellations case hit pairs two players; card C-2, Warren Moon / Cam Ward, is printed “Houston Oilers / Tennessee Titans,” the same franchise, so it goes to the Titans, in line with the house rule that cards showing a franchise’s former name go to its current team.
What if my team gets nothing?
It can happen. A team can go a whole break without a hit, and FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still earn Firehand Points on every purchase: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout.
Checklist by team
Topps’ official 2026 Midnight Football checklist (PDF) lists every card. The table below gives PYT buyers the team-by-team view of autograph and autograph-relic subjects, with rookies marked. The counts are checklist lines, not odds, and every autograph is randomly inserted.
Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change. See the official checklist.

Where the depth is
On Topps’ checklist, the Browns have the most autograph and auto-relic card lines (23, with rookies KC Concepcion, Denzel Boston and Taylen Green), followed by the Titans (19, led by Carnell Tate), and the Cowboys and Jets (17 each). Every autograph is randomly inserted, so no team is guaranteed one. Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change.
Is a break worth it?
A sealed 2026 Midnight Hobby box launched at $539.99 on Topps’ presale and gets you three Chrome autographs from random teams; a sealed case was $4,319.99. A FireHand team spot gets you every card your team pulls from a full 8-box case, which is 24 autographs spread across 32 teams.
The trade-off is certainty. A team spot doesn’t guarantee an autograph. A sealed box guarantees three, just not of your team.
A break suits you if you collect one team or chase a specific rookie’s Chrome autograph without buying a box, or like watching the case opened live. A sealed box suits you if you want guaranteed autographs in hand and don’t mind which team they’re from.
