How a FireHand PYT break works
In a FireHand Museum PYT break, you buy one MLB team and receive every card pulled for that team when the case is opened live.
- Pick your team and buy the spot. Each of the 30 team spots will have its own price on the break page.
- The break fills. Pick-your-team breaks load in the store daily between 8 and 9 AM Pacific. You get an email before your break starts.
- It breaks once every spot is sold. FireHand only breaks once every spot is sold. When the last spot sells, the case is opened live on YouTube. Watch on the FireHand Cards YouTube channel or our Live page.
- Your cards ship free. Shipping is free on group breaks. Packages go out every Tuesday and Friday, and international shipping goes out every other Thursday. See shipping.
- See your hits in HEYSTACK. When a break is imaged (many are, not all), hit images show up in HEYSTACK. Create a free HEYSTACK account with the email you use on FireHand Cards.
How team ownership works (multi-team cards and special cases)
These are FireHand’s house rules for every break:
- Cards with more than one MLB team. When a card features players from more than one MLB team, a random draw among the owners of those teams decides who gets the card.
- High-value multi-team cards. When a multi-team card has significant value, FireHand leaves the decision to the team owners involved. They can choose a random draw, sell the card and split the money, have one owner buy out the other(s), or settle it any other way they agree on.
- Cards pairing an MLB player with a non-MLB player. The card goes to the team of the MLB player. The Shohei Ohtani / Sadaharu Oh Dual On-Card Autograph goes to the Dodgers, and the Hideki Matsui / Sadaharu Oh dual goes to the Yankees.
- Cards with no MLB team. Randomized among everyone in the break. In 2026 Museum that covers Sadaharu Oh’s solo Museum Framed Autograph.
Cards on Topps’ checklist with more than one MLB team: the Sandy Koufax (Dodgers) / Nolan Ryan (Angels) Dual On-Card Autograph; Dual Autographed Jumbo Lumber Bat Relic Books of Cal Ripken Jr. (Orioles) / Derek Jeter (Yankees) and Bobby Witt Jr. (Royals) / Mike Trout (Angels); Momentous Material Dual Jumbo Patch Autograph Books of Yu Darvish (Padres) / Kodai Senga (Mets), Darvish / Ichiro (Marlins), Adrian Beltré (Dodgers) / Albert Pujols (Angels), Miguel Cabrera (Tigers) / Pujols, Paul Skenes (Pirates) / Tarik Skubal (Tigers), Ichiro / Trout, Aaron Judge (Yankees) / Trout, Julio Rodríguez (Mariners) / Fernando Tatis Jr. (Padres), Trout / Witt and Joey Votto (Reds) / Freddie Freeman (Dodgers); and Dual Player Primary Pieces Dual Relics of Ken Griffey Jr. (Mariners) / Trout, Judge / Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers), Jeter / Ripken and Judge / Trout. All 10 Three-Player Primary Pieces Triple Relics are same-team trios, so they go straight to that team.
What if my team gets nothing?
It can happen. A team can go a whole break without a hit, and FireHand doesn’t currently offer skunk protection. You still earn Firehand Points on every purchase: every $1 you spend on firehandcards.com earns 1 point, and points come off future orders at checkout.
Checklist by team
Topps’ official 2026 Museum Collection checklist (PDF) and odds sheet (PDF) list every card. The table below gives PYT buyers the team-by-team view of autograph, autograph-relic and relic subjects. The counts are checklist lines, not odds, and Topps notes that actual contents and odds may vary.
Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change. See the official checklist.

Where the depth is
On Topps’ checklist, the Yankees have the most autograph and relic card lines (111, led by Derek Jeter with 19 and Aaron Judge with 17), followed by the Dodgers (82), Braves (78) and Red Sox (70). Every hit is randomly inserted, so no team is guaranteed a card. Checklist per Topps as of Oct 29, 2026; subject to change.
Is a break worth it?
A sealed Museum box is one pack of eight cards with three hits from random teams. A FireHand team spot gets you every card your team pulls from a full 8-box case: 24 hits on the sell sheet’s count, spread across 30 teams, including the jumbo patches, on-card autographs and framed cards.
The trade-off is certainty. A team spot doesn’t guarantee a hit, and a sealed box guarantees its three, just not for your team.
A break suits you if you collect one team, want a shot at Museum’s dual books or framed autographs for your players without buying a box, or like watching the case opened live. A sealed box suits you if you want guaranteed hits in hand and don’t mind which team they’re from.
FAQ
What comes in a 2026 Topps Museum Collection Baseball hobby box?
